HP recently notified me that my HP ink needed to be updated to product purchased after a certain date. There was nothing wrong with the ink. They just demanded that I get rid of all ink purchased before an arbitrary date.

I was in the middle of an urgent project and my printer would not work even though I had all HP ink. That wasn’t enough. They demanded that I trash my perfectly good ink solely for rentier greed.

So unacceptable.
