I don't know any "woke" activists. I know people who have been denied equal access and opportunities. Who continually have to advocate just to receive basic care in the ER due to their melanin content.

This is a bogeyman that largely is an invention of the right.

I actually do something very useful in the world. I bring people together across difference to find common ground. I'm very good at what I do. But your words are shaming, unempathetic, while at the same time being untruthful. The Black community still uses the word "woke" the way we've always used it. It has never changed in definition. That's why the conservative right to erase us chose the word "woke" as a bogeyman.
