You are making assumptions not in evidence. She didn’t say that Nikki said anything “derogatory.” She said she wasn’t used to not being centered.
Am I saying something “derogatory” if I say that the majority of White people in the US voted to enact laws to deny equal access and opportunity?
The real problem is we aren’t supposed to discuss anything that might make you feel uncomfortable. It’s “insulting” to hear basic history of people not yet old enough to qualify for social security.
You weren’t reading. You were waiting to prove your point. You always believe that when Black people tell our stories that we are doing so to make White people feel badly.
The way you use the word “woke” signals a deep lack of respect for basic US history.
You use two thinkers on the subject out of thousands. Do you want to be judged by two thinkers with whom you may or may not agree?
We get to judge people based on the policies they support, the laws they enforce and the social customs they uphold.
Meanwhile, White people as a group are now outlawing and erasing basic U.S. history.
But I’m not supposed to talk about that. I’m not supposed to notice the renaming of things back to confederate names.
Have you ever shown consideration or empathy or even a tinge of understanding?
